Barnstoneworth Weekly Update – 2018 Round 8
Round 8 brought us 5 wins and just 2 losses – the best set of results for the club so far this season and the first 3 points of the season for O45B2, who convincingly beat Ourimbah at Fortress Duffy’s. Unfortunately, all of this positivity has been marred by a disaster this morning in Kiev – if any Barnstoneworth goalkeepers are available to backup for Liverpool next season please urgently send me your details and I’ll forward them on to Jurgen Klopp!
Other Important Stuff
Sponsor Focus – Central Telecoms (Graeme Johnston)
I am still hurting badly from playing a full 80 mins yesterday and even more so from the disastrous Champions League result in Kiev this morning but this pain pales into insignificance compared to the torture suffered by businesses throughout Australia at the hands of Telstra, Optus and Commander!!!!
Central Telecoms, with offices in Erina, Newcastle, Wagga Wagga and Albury, provide an unmatched level of service and support from local people who you can trust. No longer should you have to call your telecoms supplier on “1300 Manilla” for a simple billing, service or technical related query.
Services that we provide are Business-grade NBN, Phone Systems, Lines & Mobile Plans. We do the billing for all of these services so you literally never have to contact an overseas call centre again.
Here’s a recent review from Matthew Crow of Party Hire Company in Somersby:
“Having recently moved our business to the NBN, we would not hesitate to recommend Central Telecoms. After many years with the major player it was refreshing to actually meet with our supplier who was able to answer all our questions as well as provide competitive prices. The service was installed on time including a complete new phone system with everything up and working in no time. Graeme & Chris were even on site to ensure all went smoothly. Wishing you all the best & keep up the great work.”

3 very important dates for the diary:
Sat 2nd June – This is a charity day at Duffy’s and I think 6 of our teams are playing there on the same day so it’ll be great to get a load of us down there to support each other and to support our chosen charity for 2018. More details to follow very soon….
Sat 23rd June – Mid-season gathering (previously Curry Night) will be held at Sidelines (who sponsor us) this year from 7pm onwards. Will be a great night. Tickets are $30 and include starters and mains. We also receive a small % of the bar takings so we’re encouraging you to drink as much as possible!!! Money needs to be paid to Tim Watt asap to book your spot – numbers are limited to 70 so this will sell out fast.
Sun 24th June – Terrigal Gala Day. This is one of the main events in our calendar and we help TUFC by manning the BBQ all day. We need about 4 volunteers from each team so again please let your C&M know if you’re able and willing to help out.
