Round 8 brought us 5 wins and just 2 losses – the best set of results for the club so far this season and the first 3 points of the season for O45B2, who convincingly beat Ourimbah at Fortress Duffy’s. The 2017 Season launch (indoor because of the recent monsoonal weather) tournament turned into a successful and enjoyable afternoon.

It’s been a fantastic year for Barnstoneworth with two of our teams winning their Grand Finals, ending a 6 year wait for silverware (If memory serves, that was the Ds!).
The 35 As won their final 2 – 1 against Ourimbah in a hard fought battle while Barnstoneworth B North won theirs in a real nail biter where Doyalson were denied twice from the penalty spot by the ever agile Geoff Channels.

It’s nearly time to get out the denko rub and dust off the old footy boots for the highly anticipated first pre-season inter-club match of 2015. It’s being held on the 21st of February at Bloodtree Oval.
