Our third game in a row at home! What’s going on? Any how we were confident of a reverse from the previous week as we had put in some hard training and again we got off to a good start with an early goal from “Nic” (what did he say) Tanit Pruksapan and as with the previous week we relaxed again to let them into the game. They equalised pretty much straight away and for much of the game we struggled to control them. Read more

The D’s were creaking slightly being generally old (or ancient in Mr Dalton and Mr Butlers case) with our 1st game in 3 weeks and missing Bill’s Duracel capabilities and Ed’s knack for nicking goals. Read more

Up against our bogey team again from last year we new we had a challenge on our hands, we wanted to go out positive which we did with Phil Clark slipping a nice goal away very early. We pretty much dominated the first 20 mins but as expected Woy Woy (so good they named it twice) started to come back into the game and just before half time got a dodgy penalty which they put away. BUFC travelled up the road to Pat Morley Oval to play the organised and competitive Entrance side.

BUFC started brightly and had a couple of early half chances which we failed to convert. Read more

The B team of the mighty BUFC eventually kicked a ball in anger on Saturday, our opponents being the newly relegated Avoca. Knowing we were in for a tough game the plan was to not let them settle on the ball. It worked well within 10 minutes we were one up with a fine goal from Brad Finch, sadly Avoca hit straight back with a dubious penalty which Darrel came close to saving. Read more

The Dashing D’s faced the unknown this week against an East Gosford side new to the competition but were soon in our stride gaining the lead with a fine strike from Andy Stuart cutting in from the left for his 2nd goal in 2 games. East Gosford equalised after their troublesome left winger cut through us and laid a perfect ball on for their striker till TJ made a tactical change to stifle him. Read more

BUFC took the long trip up the coast to play the newly promoted Gwandalan.
