A great team performance across the park. We dominated from the opening whistle and denied Avoca a single realistic scoring chance. Read more
So good to finally have a game!! A fairly typical season opener – great in patches and “not so great” in others…. Read more
A good contest with Avoca on a nice dry pitch despite rain. First blood by us but counteracted by an equaliser which Andrew almost saved. We were not going to take this lying down so a few minutes later our tall Scottish striker received the ball at his feet, pirouetted and scored a cracker under the bar. Read more
With the rain falling the chance of a game looked slight for 45D (Central), but come the morning we realised the game was on, and we decided to bolster our 13 stout fellows with Tim Watt (also stout).
Well, again, match day for me started on Wednesday desperately trying to get 11 fit players on the pitch Saturday to face Kincumber. Looking at the weather forecast, I went to bed Friday praying that the rain continued and our game would be called off. What a terrible situation to be in! Read more
The world may be in chaos, but the beautiful game marches on.

Well, Barnstoneworth 45B’s (Previously 45A) yet again struggled to field a full team against our nemesis team Killarney Fossils who last time out best us 1-6.

Well yet again we are on our travels, this time against Killarney Vale at Jubilee Oval. Oh what a pleasure it would be to actually get a game at our own ground!
It was a depleted injury ridden 45 A’s that travelled to Killarney Vale, and with Brad Finch & Rob Scott away and Mark Wheatly our own resident paramedic on shift, we again had to rely on back up from the 35b’n squad i.e. Shaun Roper, Mark Leadbeater, Phil Skidmore & Neal Tardidis ( sorry about the spelling Neal ).
