BUFC D’s vs Gosford D’s – Trial Game

BUFC D’s 4 Gosford 0 (unless we scored any more in the last quarter)

A fine battling display from all and a warm welcome back to D grade for Ed whose partnership up front with John looks very promising (and his hatrick wasn’t too bad either). Gosford fielded a much stronger side and there was little between the 2 sides till John stole a goal before half time. Gosford faded later on allowing Ed to show what he’s capable of, but man of the match goes to Bill with the finest game I’ve seen him play in a Barnstoneworth shirt with a fine all round battling display and some quite deft touches for a Union man!

Special mention also to Jess who also had a fine game and a very warm welcome back for TJ unselfishly running the side line.
