BUFC D’s vs Kanwal

A must win game started badly with the team lacking urgency and timing at the back and cohesion in the midfield for the 1^st 15 minutes, gifting Kanwal 2 soft goals which could have been more. Eventually we clawed our way back into the game finishing the 1^st half strongly with a hatful of chances but unfortunately no breakthrough, not helped by enforced breaks as the sprinkler system came on.

We started off strongly in the 2^nd half with Gloria slotting a fine finish from the edge of the box to make it 2-1 and a sea of red and white urging forward for the equaliser. Some poor corners, crossing and further sprinkler delays allowed Kanwal to ride out the storm and seal a 2-1 victory. A bad result but a good kick up the backside for us and plenty of positives with our options and tactics going forward with the Finals looming.

I believe the Man of the match was John, if so well played, if not, well played to whoever was.
